Day by day Itinerary

Day 1

Dar es Salaam – Nyerere National Park (Fly-In)

After an early transfer to Dar es Salaam Airport, board a scheduled bush flight to Nyerere National Park. On arrival at the park’s airstrip, meet your safari guide and transfer to your lodge with game viewing along the way.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon at leisure or a short introductory game drive depending on arrival time. In the evening, return to camp for dinner and overnight inside the park.

Days 2–3

Nyerere National Park

Spend two full days exploring Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s most diverse ecosystems. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives through vast savannahs, woodlands, and wetlands.

Enjoy guided walking safaris led by armed rangers, offering a close-up understanding of the bush. A scenic boat safari along the Rufiji River allows for relaxed wildlife viewing, with sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Evenings are spent relaxing at camp with dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Nyerere – Ruaha National Park (Fly-In)

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival, meet your guide and enjoy a game drive while transferring to your lodge.

After lunch, head out for an afternoon safari exploring Ruaha’s dramatic landscapes dominated by baobab trees, rocky hills, and the Great Ruaha River. Wildlife sightings may include lions, elephants, and antelope species. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Days 5–7

Ruaha National Park

Spend three full days exploring Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest and one of its most predator-rich parks. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs, elephants, and diverse antelope species.

Guided walking safaris offer a deeper appreciation of the ecosystem, focusing on tracks, plants, and smaller wildlife. With minimal tourist traffic, Ruaha provides a raw and exclusive safari atmosphere. Evenings are spent relaxing at camp with dinner and overnight.
