Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will be met by our professional driver and transferred to your city hotel in Dar es Salaam. After check-in, take time to relax and recover from your international journey.
The evening is spent at leisure, enjoying dinner at the hotel and a comfortable overnight stay. This day provides a smooth introduction to Tanzania before your fly-in safari adventure begins the following morning.
After breakfast, transfer to Dar es Salaam Airport for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park. On arrival, your safari guide will meet you and transfer you to camp, enjoying game viewing en route.
After lunch at the lodge, head out for a scenic boat safari along the Rufiji River. From the water, observe hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife in a tranquil setting. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight inside the park.
Spend two full days exploring Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s most diverse wildlife sanctuaries. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal large populations of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, lions, and wild dogs.
Boat safaris along the Rufiji River offer a different perspective of the ecosystem, ideal for photography and birdwatching. Enjoy a morning game drive exploring Ruaha’s diverse habitats and rich predator populations. The park is renowned for lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, and hyenas, as well as large herbivores such as elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and antelope species.
In the afternoon, experience a guided walking safari, offering a deeper understanding of the ecosystem through tracks, plants, and smaller wildlife. This immersive activity provides a unique bush perspective before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be assisted with onward connections to your international flight, beach extension, or hotel.
